I always boil it to perfection but I've read that you can also cook it (in a pot) with little or now water at all.
Oh, did you know that there are some octopus with 2 rows of suckers and some with one row on their arms. Does anyone know the difference?
You need to eat the tentacles. You shouldn't discard them. Furthermore, I would never add vinegar to water (unless making cabbage) when cooking octopus.
Hey guys, you pound octopus the moment you pull it from the water. What we usually get now is frozen or defrosted octopus... and there is no need to tenderize it anymore.
Brine: I would save this for fowl
