Has anyone else seen this!!

Indy Dealer Show in Feb, same place the vid was taken. I talked to the lady that was with that guy, she was so surprised to see a girl go nuts over CF!

From what I understand, its pretty difficult to set up the bike properly with the stock length swingarm. I think most of the "serious" race teams using Ducs all run the longer wheelbase.

Ah yes, Mike and the mighty C1. Limited to only 50 and a bargain at $100,000 a bike. All Titanium and carbon fiber.

It is his bike (C1) and the Desmo racing in the new Wall Street movie sequel.

And if memory serves me correctly he had an electric bike competing at the Isle of Mann last year, but ran into problems and will be returning with a new bike this year.

The guy is a madman genius.

A mix of history and design constraints I believe.....

The first 916 had a production length 19mm shorter than the 888 swingarm which got them a shorter wheelbase, however the factory racers suffered poor traction and not enough front bias. Tamburini designed a 20mm longer magnesium one which was much better. Funny thing is they never put them on production bikes until the 999 which was eventually lengthened by 15mm.
With the swingarm attached through the motor and also being a 'long' motor then 20mm is probably the maximum they would/could ever go imo.

Dymag ?? used to make a CF swingarm for the 916/998's years ago
