Has anybody used their cricket phone on Paypal or similar sites?

Hello,

I have been a Cricket user ever since they came to Spokane, Washington.

I used a Nokia 5170i until last June when I got a Kyocera Dorado used from a friend of mine. It has been a good phone actually.

I would like to upgrade to a web capable phone in order to process the occasional credit card transaction for my business without paying every month for a service that I do not often (but too often to forego entirely) use. I would also like to use the phone to check my email and browse as far as it will let me. Ideally an mp3 would be nice but is not mandatory.

Has anyone used their web capable phone with Paypal or similar sites?

currently web access is restricted to cricket's portal. you can get around it by going through google for most sites, but i don't know if paypal will work.

Ebay works, You can sign in view the status of your items for sale and such. Paypal when trying to sign does not work as well as my bank sign in. I had cricket upgrade my KOI's browser and the web works great. Just certian sights are 403 forbidden.

Thanks for the replies so far.

Jeweler, you said that the Paypal sign in does not work as well as the Ebay one. Does this mean that the Paypal login works sometimes, never, or that it just takes a lot of work to make it work?

Thanks a lot everybody, I really appreciate your help and that of anyone else with some experience/ info

Now that things appear to have opened up would someone mind trying to log in to Paypal and see if it works?

This being patient thing has been a good exercise for me but that doesn't mean that it hasn't sucked!

well, I have tried 'mobile.paypal.com' today and it lets you in, you can send money, buy stuff, and view your balance... It's actually pretty cool.
