Hello people,
Has anybody who suffers from chronic back pain had a spinal cord stimulator implant trial, but it didn't help your back pain or it stimulated the wrong area of your body?
I'm currently on my 2nd SCS trial & am due for repositioning, removal or completion on 11th May 09, as I've already had 2 trials & on both times the electrodes where placed in the wrong place & so stimulated the wrong places.
(my boobs & armpits!, very usefull)
I'm really worried about my options, after this being the 2nd trial attempt, will my pain management doctor give up on me?
Any advice or simular stories would be much appreciated to help me stop worrying, I'm going back to the pain clinic on Tues to discuss my options & I'm absolutly terrified of what they are going to say to me, as I had the 1st wrongly placed electrode taken out, any help & advice would be really appreicated xxxxxx :dizzy:
