Being a recent college I signed off on a hundred dollar authorization thinking I was going to launch my career there. They convince you that you are going to help every family in America (targeting middle class). I come straight home and looked them up...turns out they have complaints left and right and are constantly being sued. I wouldn't be surprised if they are the next Enron. I'm mad at myself for ignoring the 100s of red flags but I guess job hunting is a pain and I was way too excited about the 10K I could me making monthly (that's what they told me). Now I'm not sure what to do. They pulled the money within a few hours of the interview. When I called them for a refund they then told me its non-refundable. In the interview they assured me I could back out at anytime, letting me know that it was not a binding contract. If that's the case, can't they at least refund my money? I don't know how to get the money back. So far, I've canceled the card, so the con artists will not take any more of my money. Now I'm not sure if I should try the BBB and file a claim or take another route? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. (Please don't bash me for making the stupid mistake, I already feel like a dummy for falling into their "sales interview scheme". So far I've only heard from really fishy companies while searching for a job, so if anyone knows of reputable sites that post REAL jobs then please let me know. Thanks in advance! In case anyone hears from one of their recruiters, please don't make the same mistake, just run!
