Has any experience in between family & gf... Filipino culture?

Im scare to lose my gf because she has a child of 4yo. I have been with her for 15month and I dont see why she has to break up with me, my mother wouldnt approve. because Im a filipino culture, and my current gf is pinay but raised here in Oz. I have to contact my ex in canada for the sake of my mom who has a bonding with her (single & no kids) but deep down I dont wanna tell or hurt my mum that I am currently dating someone here in Australia that I love alot.
 
What you need to do is tell your mom that you are a grown man, who can make his own decisions. You mom is probably waiting for the day that you will stand up to her. Respectfully of course!
