SDA isn't to blame for people being lazy, people are. Those things generally require you to be pretty active :P

I don't know why i feel that the Americans are losing out on most things because of its too much free society. I feel that Americans back in 50s were much more hardworking and humble. Today, people of my generation are so lazy and want to spend the whole day playing games on x box rather than playing baseball or something. I also feel that their behavior is always extreme, be it in happiness or sorrow. If your answer is "agreed" then what can be done to stop this?

People glorify the past waaaaay too much. There were a lot of bad things about the 50s. You think people weren't lazy then? I doubt it, but maybe it's because they couldn't be lazy. Everything about now is so much better; technology has helped us to this end, as well as advances all across the board. Society has progressed and things have gotten better. Yet people who didn't live back then for some reason think it was better than it is now.
