two of my buddies are testers at Bioware here in Edmonton, they say its pretty shitty

You can never trust testers....they are at the lowest point of the game industry food chain. The pay is shitty, the hours suck, the job security is non-existent, and....they have to play the same game every day for 40+ hours a week. I'd say their opinions about it, could be a bit skewed.

A bioware game that's shitty... I've never disliked a Bioware game so i seriously doubt I'll dislike this one. Especially since the KOTOR team is doing it and everything they've done is beyond excellent.

KOTOR 2 didn't suck, it just wasn't as good as KOTOR.

Ive never really played jade empire, is it worth it?


I tried it for like 5 minutes and it "felt" too different from kotor 1 + 2, so I stopped playing. Is it worth it to give it another go?

jade empire was amazing. easily one of the best games ive played to date.

and kotor2 did suck. had clipping issues, boring story, nothing exciting. i got half way thru and stopped. kotor was just so amazing i guess i was expecting too much

That's because KOTOR 2 wasn't done by Bioware. They outsourced for it.
