Problem: Started the Purple Bell Quest or Finishing the Green Bell Quest
Specifics:
So I'm working on getting through all of the Bell Quests on Harvest Moon Animal Parade. First, I did the Red Bell, Yellow Bell, and Blue Bell. I just recently finished the Green Bell quest.
From what I understand, people in the town are supposed to start talking about a haunting that will lead me to go begin the Purple Bell quest. For some reason, however, this event is not taking place. I have a feeling that it is linked with the completion of the Green Bell Quest for many reasons. Although people acknowledge through their speech and my save screen shows the green bell, it seems that I have not experienced all the events that I should have after the ringing of the Green Bell (which I did ring).
According to a guide by Freya, if you go back to Horn Ranch you will have an event with the family there which mentions that the animals are more lively. Although it has been days since I have rung the bell, this event has not happened. I've tries to trigger it by talking to all the family, walking about the whole grounds, and entering the actual buildings, but it won't trigger. ALSO, Finn never did wake me up in the middle of the night to give me one of his downer speeches.
However, I did experience the ringing of the Green Bell and Gill is now back and everything.
Sorry this is long, I'm just trying to figure out what I'm missing. Any ideas?
