I have read both the Harry Potter and Twilight book series, and completely adore both. Although, i must say that i much prefer J.k. Rowlings writings over Stephanie Meyer's because of the fact that Stephanie Meyers seems much more unrealistic to me. I am well aware that both are science fiction books and therefore are both make beleive, but atleast J.k. rowling's characters are more realistic. There is absolutely no boy in the world that was ever or will ever be as perfect as Edward Cullen, but Harry has both his ups and downs. Harry has also known his love Ginny for years before he falls in love with her, wereas in Meyer's books i feel as if edward was able to read bellas mind or if she wasnt his caller he never would have even be interested in her. Also, it did bother me very much that bella was so completely pathetic after Edward had dumped her. She was not the first person to have her heart broken but may be one of the first to act so completely helpless. Please share your thoughts

Oh, my gosh, I prefer Harry Potter so much more! The Twilight books are cliched and don't really draw me in. Harry Potter was an instant phenomenon, and Twilight just isn't there yet. I'm sure that some people would argue with me, but seriously Harry Potter is just so much better. The characters in Twilight aren't even interesting. You don't care about them; they are just like paper dolls. And for the people who say that J.K.R.'s writing is unrealistic, that is pretty much the pot calling the kettle black. Fantast writing is supposed to be unrealistic, but overall I think that J.K.R.'s writing is just soooo much better.
So, those are my thoughts.

That's like comparing the beatles to the jonas brothers. So i'm gonna say HARRY POTTER.

Harry Potter. Twilight is so overrated. I could write better than Stephanie Meyer, and J.K Rowling is just a genius with how she created a whole different world. Vampire stories are so cliche, unless they are done as well as Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles.
