Okay, now I am not asking you to compare the books to the movies, because I am sure 99% of you will say the books were better[ if you have read the books]
My question is, do you think the movies should be considered a different entity entirely? Clarify- As we know, comparing the two will leave the movies in the dust comparatively, but since you do not have to read the books to understand the movies, and if you haven't read the books, then you don't really know what your missing, do the movies stand on their own? And is it even fair to compare them at all?
Just a thought provoking question, thought it would be better than yet another Twilight bashing or Harry Potter trivia question....
