Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

that's too long! We need to know if the funeral is in it. Although we could go blindly to it. I'm glad now that i am aware of the burrow scene coz then maybe i might get used to it by the time i see it in the film.

I really enjoyed it but like others I was disappointed by the amounts that have been left out. The last two films have both felt extremely truncated OOTP bizarrely being the shortest of the whole series at 138 mins. Interestingly COS is the longest at 161 mins.

I loved all the characters and the humour and found the whole thing incredibly watchable. So much so that I don't see why they couldn't have added another 20 mins to fill in a few of the plot holes. Both Yates' films seem to have been crying out for this. More so then the first 4. Why not dispense with the 30 mins of aRAB and trailers to make way for more HP?

There are loaRAB of great films that have weighed in at over 3 hrs, "Ben-Hur" "Lawrence of Arabia" etc... It's not an issue for me.

Anyway I feel that much of this film was underplayed, particularly the ending (no battle!) in order to make way for the next 2 films. Maybe they felt that if they went all out they wouldn't have anywhere left to go. I think this was a mistake though and as such the film feels a bit incomplete.

Also, unlike what happens with most movies I'm sure that the majority of the people who go to see HP have read the books. I think the films should really cater for them where possible. Why not?

Anyway enough quibbling. It was great and I'll probably go and see it again. Rant over.

My HP film ratings:
1 - 4/10
2 - 8/10
3 - 9/10
4 - 8/10
5 - 7/10
6- 8/10

i'm pretty much finished the script. Just have to do a final read through. I have some extra pages that i need to find.
I'm really happy with it though, which i suppose is the main thing.

If you want it pm me. I think the best way to send it is by email as an attachment.

I'm kinda glad they didn't put too many memories in but i reckon they should have added another but perhaps somehow combine them to show the ring, the locket and the cup that way those who haven't read the books would know about the cup/locket belonging to a hogwarts founder because i think thats pretty important in the next film.

I liked the christmas attack but i would have rather a big fight at the end.

I'm not a fan of HP movies. Don't get me wrong, i love the book, just do not fancy the realization.

Anyway, the pictures looks great. Maybe, i'm going to check out this one. Just waiting to see the trailer first.
