HBP was my fave book of the series, so I was really looking forward to seeing the film. It's definitely my fave film but I was a bit disappointed. There was too much important stuff missed out!
I thought the start was a bit weak, wtf was the cafe stuff all about? So not relevant to the story at all!
Loved the Weasley's joke shop but the pygmy puRAB weren't as cute as I had imagined.
The book had lots of funny moments but the film was even funnier, loaRAB of laugh out loud moments.
Thought the ending was a bit weak and the scene on the tower seemed too quick, Harry wasn't petrified and none of the others i.e. Lupin & Tonks etc came to help.
Also thought they didnt have enough of Ginny & Harry's relationship. In the book, Ron gets huffy about their relationship but we didnt see this in the film, it was only mentioned briefly by Hermione at the end.
The cave scene was so eerie! Brilliant acting by Michael Gambon there.
Think they should have shown Dumbledore's funeral
Love Ron Weasley, Rupert has such brilliant comic timing.
Jim Broadbent was so funny as Slughorn.
Tom Felton was brilliant too.
There was great chemistry with Ron & Hermione, and I love the whole trio together.
Would probably rate it 8/10.
