Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

January or February are not really a good month to release a family film, July sounRAB about right, they want it during the holidays where children (and adults) can see it a number of times. The winter months you tend to get more adult movies and family films come out during holiday times. I must admit I am fairly unhappy that I will have to wait longer, but if what they say is true that the film will be finished by November, I would not be surprised to see a leaked copy on the net at some point.
 
I just think this film is going to be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

Yates reaslly raised the bar with the OotP and I'm hoping it's going to go even higher when the next film comes out!!

just read thet the japanese translation of 'Deathly hallows' is coming out soon....so if you're a japanese fan, you wouldn't have finished the HP series yet. I'm so jelous but that book came out a year ago over here.....that's just awful, them having to wait!
 
Hey guys there is an online petition at petition spot, get signing, it's already featured in the Aussie news and on the mugglenet site!! It wont chage anything but at least we can air our views!!!
 
In an ideal world, I'd be in Gryffindor :p Then I could get Hermione to do all my work for me! ;) No, Ravenclaw or Gryffindor for me... though Mr Sorting Hat would probably place me in Ravenclaw... either that or he'll see the inside of my head and chuck me out!
 
Yeah very true, i just thought it was so good that she was getting attention by normal muggle men, it was just weird!
From what i've ready on mugglenet and theleakycauldron, i don't believe that they will be in it, but nothing has been confirmed or made official. Well thats the thing Bill has never been mentioned that i can think of, i think Charlie was introduced by name in GOF? Is that the one who looks after dragons? Theres too many of them lol
Regarding Peeves, that is annoying, he has been some of the video games i believe but yeah it is annoying that he hasn't been in the films... especially for OOTP and the terrorising of Umbridge.
 
I'm glad it wasn't 'scar' though, it was a perfect ending; 'All was well' - just sounRAB so nice, all is good in the end. :)

Doesn't seem right, them all grown up now! :(

Plus, J.K.Rowling didn't insist in having Bill and Fleur casted, so It looks like there isn't going to be a Bill and Fleur.

I have no Idea how their going to get over that in the last film. :|
 
I googled HBP trailer to find out when they were going to show it on AOL and one of the top pages was 'Leaked Half Blood Prince trailer'...well I thought i'd have a peek.....

I thought ooh, 3 minutes is quite long for a teaser trailer....Rick Astey is an odd choice for the HP soundtrack...no sign of slughorn.....harry......

I was very disappointed with WB!!! This is not what I thought the trailer would be like!!:mad:
 
Favourite Film - LOTR, Pearl harbour and HP..although I'm hoping DH will become my fave!!

Favourite TV Show - 24!!! ER (before noah wyle left though) and spooks and Dr who ( how could I forget!!)

Favourite Band - I think I'm going to have to say Coldplay...although I'm really liking The Script at the moment...and of course The Feeling :D

Favourite Female Artist - sorry it's not going to be Leona..*runs for cover*....I'm really liking this artist called Dana Glover at the moment...she's fab!

Favourtie Male Artist - Will Young...no question..the man is a genius!!!

Favourite Song - the 2 that I mentioned before
 
I suppose they have to add some scenes like that because all the stuff in the book about it is Harry battling his feelings inside his head

She's Ron's sister and all that...

Are they including the scene where they go to the weasley twin's shop? The weasley's should be in the hospital scene as well

there's so much I keep remembering about the books that I want them to include!!
 
I agree re bold bit.

I came to HP in a back-to-front way in that I only watched the first film a few years ago after 6 books had already been released. Then after being smitten with the PS film I read the 6 books without stopping for breath. So, yes, I think I do see the actors when reading the books and how they will portray their roles in the films. Of the characters who are portrayed the closest to the books I could only name a few - Hermione; Hagrid; Ron; Luna; Neville. Hmmm maybe some more but I can't think for now. Oh, Professor McGonagal too.

I think you asked in a previous post what could be/is being cut in OotP. The most important one for me is that there will be no Gaunts! I'm really surprised by that decision.
 
I can't tell you how irritated I get by people who think the films are fantastic and haven't bothered to read the books.

You really can't JUDGE if the film is fantastic if you haven't read the books.
