Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

ah...if you're going to read the books you have to start at the beginning! Otherwise things really won't make sense at all. The films do quite a good job at explaining things...but they still leave so much out cos they can't fit it all in the films!!

:):)

Nope noone knows them all but rumoured to be very close people associated with the book over the years...Im sure I heard a couple of names but cant remember them!

Just keep googling HBP trailer or something, i'm sure you will find a link that will work on the library computer! You need to see it, its the best trailer in Harry Potter history IMO :D

I said this before but I love how busy this forum has become! I mean nearly 400 post JJ...yay for that!

LOTS of new posters which is always good!

I'm going to have to dash off now as well (I'm sure i'll be back in ten minutes lol) I'm such a hypocrite :D

See you later :)

Contactmusic quotes him as saying: "There's no point reading the books because you're playing with the screenwriter's worRAB. Besides, you'd get upset about all the scenes the script is missing from the book, wouldn't you?"

This is michael gambon worRAB classic:)

I know what you mean, what DID happens while they were all at Hogwarts, behind closed doors, hmmmm, i guess we'll never know...unless Jo releases another book haha..OR fanfic..- my favourite :p.

Those pics look great, thanks for posting them

Yeah he would have been a decent choice, but maybe too young 5 years ago when they were looking for a new Dumbledore. Sometimes I get the feeling they only chose Michael Gambon because he was yet another 'luvvie' British actor that they could boast was in the movies, however he really has done a better job than most people give him credit for. He was only dodgy in a couple of scenes in Goblet of Fire, but that wasn't his fault, it was director Mike Newell and his 'lets make everything action!' attitude. It seems he has put in a great performance in HBP.

Yeah, when I watched it everyone jumped as well when he reached to get the water.

I really hope the next films (part 1 & 2), return to the ways of film 1 and 2. It says on wikipedia that the next film will be more faithfull to the book.

I've just though of something else and it's too late to alter my post. I can't believe I forgot about it before but my mind's in a muddle after watching the final of Torchwood.

Can I just make it clear in my head what you think first? So Voldy wasn't nasty before he was turned down for the Defense job and was just a normal student?

If that's what you think can I just remind you that Voldy opened the Chamber of Secrets when he was 16 after years of searching which resulted in the death of Moaning Myrtle and him framing the innocent Hagrid? This was two years before Headmaster Dippet refused to give Voldy the job.

Then there is the point about the two kiRAB and the cave which happened before he was 11.

I just think that there is a lot of evidence to suggest that Voldy was bad long before being turned down for the job.

I still can't believe I forgot about the Chamber of Secrets :o
