Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

It's a shame they didn't show Snape losing it big time at the end when Harry calls him a coward. I thought they were setting that up at earlier on when Bella calls him a coward at Spinner's End, you could see it affecting him, but then nothing when Harry says it to him. He should have grabbed Harry, been in his face, really scary, but they didn't go for it.

Some of the cuts actually 'corrected' JK Rowling in a way. e.g. the big emphasis on Harry learning non-verbal spells that there was throughout the book, with Snape telling him at the end that he'll be blocked again and again unless he keeps his mouth shut. None of that went anywhere in Deathly Hallows.

i know but i can see them mucking it about. I have no confidence in this new July date.
Once they've moved it once - they won't be afraid to do it again. They may bring it forward and then push it back or even just move it further back.

And me! I'm exited more about HBP than i was about OOTP, although i just absolutely love anything to do with OOTP, the last few chapters in the book of OOTP at the ministry are just amazing! But the film didn't do it justice for me at all :(
So i'm hoping HBP will restore my faith in the films :D

PMSL!!!

Same here... but not the bowling green :D

I'm quite lucky i'm in a very good part of Coventry but there are places i avoid like the plague!

Oh we will :D

I always had my doubts... :D

I know it's just hair, and not a massive Potter fan, i love the films an books but still, keep in character Emma lol.

I would love to go to an after party, if ONLY i knew someone who knew someone connected to HP :( lol

Actually, I'm comparing this to Chamber of Secrets, the longest film but shortest book. To be so long it must've had plenty of padding - yet it was breathtakingly exciting.

This one? It's shorter, and the book is three times longer, but it felt like it was ALL PADDING! I don't know how they managed to reduce a 600 page book to all padding. Unlike Breaking Dawn, for example, which is going to be all padding too, stuff actually happens in the book. It feels like they removed all of the contents and replaced it by giggling and staring that only a 13 year old can truly be entertained by.

Was just watching 'A Year in The Life' of JK and she said Harry and Ginny named the girl Luna after their dear friend but in the epilogue it is Lily! Or did i hear wrong? Or is it Lily Luna

I am totally miffed and peed off at the decision to move this movie back to July 09! :(

Not fair!!!

WB's are wanting to make more money so a blockbuster summer release is the time for it. Majority of the HP movies have been released in the month of November so what's the problem this time? And i don't believe the writers strike has a lot to do with it. WB's are being total idiots!!

Rant over! :o
