Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Erm I cant say too much lol..I just know stuff :o:D

But apart from that she is just so up poor Jo's backside its scary!

I just find that she looks down on other fans and seems to think she is now the Potter fandom spokesperson which bugs me :o

I find it really funny that Harry Potter fans usually fall into one of two camps when it comes to the films. PS and POA usually being the deciding factors. One is usually the favourite and one is usually the most hated.

Your list made me laugh because it is the the exact opposite to mine. I don't actually hate PS and COS secret but they do bug me. Especially when you see what they can actualy do in the later films. POA is one of my favourite films ever, not just when it comes to Harry Potter. The first two just seemed to be the book on screen. A bit twee and boring.

I see the films as a sort of really big budget fan art. I don't want to see them take every single scene from the books and put them on screen. That is boring and a bad way to put novels on screen. Books and films are totally different mediums and have very different ways of telling stories. POA for me got it spot on. Beautifully stylised and perfectly structured.

Reading it again knowing its actually TRUE is even better! :D

Through the reeRAB...then Greyback! OMG that is going to be such a jumpy moment! :D

yeah, i saw the handwritten one in the window of Waterstones - didn't read it all though so thanks for the link. I wish she would do a prequel.
For anyone who cares I'm now on scene 16 - which is the last bit of the Dursleys in chapter 1!

I do love BJ but I've seen it so many times and read the book and most importantly..it clashed with BB!!:o:D

I haven't read all the books one after the other for a long time! I haven't read GoF and OotP for years! Maybe 2 or 3 years cos my sister's got them. :(

That's right....blame me! I'll push you into that hole again if you don't behave!!

I saw it last night.

I was bored throughout, to be honest. The narrative was jumpy and disjointed, and the humorous parts were clumsily inserted between the general dark parts.

It felt a bit like two films - one a teen funny movie and the other a dark fantasy.

I also got the feeling that it was severely cut in the edit.... not that I'm complaining about the length, I was bored after 45 minutes.
Hope TDH will be better.
