i'm glad Sprout is coming back - i assume she is just in the battle at Hogwarts in part 2!

I don't know why but i can't see Rupert as hot maybe it is the name Rupert.
 
I was a very slow starter with the potter books. I didn't start reading them until the first 4 had all come out. (Well I was bought the 1st book when it came out on paperback but i'm ashamed to say, i didn't even finish the first chapter - i really didn't like it at first look)

I think JK has just got better as each book has come out!! That doesn't mean that the first book is awful - it's just brilliant but not as amazingly brilliant as deathly hallows imo :cry:

Glad I am not the only newbie Daz. Like I said I have lurked for ages, but never felt the need to join, but there is something about this thread that is soooo nice. Not like some of the others, where people argue all the time.

Lisa- I used to go to squires alot and roper hall. I left in 2001! I studied contemporary performing arts, not sure if that course still runs. We were the 1st year to do it. It was pretty awful!
 
What the ACTUAL hell?!:confused: How seriously can they show Harry learning about Voldemort's past without the Gaunts? Major screw-up I reckon. Pretty worried about what their gonna do to HBP, probably the most interesting of all of the books.
 
No, I've found out many pages i should be writing and I've written about 1/3 of a 30 minute episode but i'm going to lengthen the Dursley scenes and put these scenes in. Hopefully, I'll finish it over the week-end if i'm lucky. It's due to be raining all tomorrow so will have plenty of time to work on it.
Sam - your trip to Alaska sounRAB amazing. Have you ever read the His Dark Materials Trilogy coz that focuses on it a bit as well and it sounRAB amazing.
The Irish aren't going to hate you - at least you won't get questioned about whether you support Celtic or Rangers like i do when i'm over to visit the cousins.
 
Ooo me too, I loved that scene. I hope, if they keep it in, that they also keep the bit where Snape finRAB the letter first, and takes the bit that says 'Love Lily' and the half of the picture with her laughing in, as that bit nearly made me cry...
 
I doubt they will do advanced screenings for films this big you generally have to wait for the release date, i saw advanced screenings for the first and second film but after that they seemed to stop doing them for harry potter.
