Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

True, the writing of Dumbledore (and in general) was completely off the mark in PoA.

Sirius was off the mark too.

I was fuming when they had Sirius show Harry the Order photo instead of Mad Eye.

Mad Eye does it because he in insensitive and thinks Harry seeing a photo of his mum and dad and the rest of the order - which he has just joined - with a commentary of "dead, dead, oh they found bits of him, dead, dead, evil, dead..." will be a treat. Sirius steps in and rescues Harry!

And as for him calling Harry James, NO, just NO!

The last film(s) is gonna be a bit of a bloodbath! I hope David Yates has learnt how to handle deaths better since Ootp. Sirius's death IMO was utter crap! I'm all for the films being different to the books to get a better cinematic experience, but in this case they just made it more confusing. It's as though they had to add the line later of Bellatrix saying 'I killed Sirius Black!' just so everyone realised. The moment of his death should have been climactic.

Better in time is a very good song, not as good as some of the other songs on the album though!

I know! I don't know where he is, i would have thought that a Leona conversation would have got him on :D

I think they didn't do it like that as it would have been confusing for people who watch the films but don't read the books. Think about it - in the books, the only way we know that Dumbledore froze Harry (with no worRAB or movement) instead of protecting himself is through Harry's thoughts. Without some sort of weird voice-over thingy, it would have been hard to convey visually.

I actually thought that scene was rather poignant - it showed Harry's trust and faith in Dumbledore.
 
no way would i make it into HSM but a little more like having Lavender or the Patil twins say they are going to choir practice or rehearse for the school play which i think Neville may have done some acting perhaps.
That side of the school was in that one line in PS and then forgotten about.

I thought the memory scenes were going to be... well i don't know, i didn't think about them at all really! But WOW at them now!
 
I agree, Harry seemed to move on too quicky, and i remember being kinda bored in the cinema :o

I am watching it in parts, i miss about 20 minutes evey so often as i have seen it so many times before.

I love that punch from Hermione on just before...Draco is such a wimp, i wish he would have fought back more lol.
 
I'm getting bored of checking the fan sites now, they have to give us something soon!!!! It so frustrating :(
