Film adaptations are sometimes good though... take 10 things i hate about you. That was made from Shakespeares the taming of the shrew, which i actually HATE! But the film was good :D
 
I wasn't a big fan but i think that maybe because Joseph never really made an imprint on my mind when i went to see it, or maybe because there isn't a movie. The sound of music and Oliver! i love because they made a massive impression on me as a kid.
 
Did we ever find out anything else about that? Like what the story was? Or do we have to wait for the encyclopedia?

Why did the filmakers deliberately show the fact that Harry didn't know where the Half Blood Prince's book was hidden? In the novel, he tries to make the place as memorable as possible by placing the bust of a warlock on top of the cupboard, on top of which he puts a wig and a
dusty old tiara, which he remembers with a jolt about 12 months later when he sneaks into the castle looking for a Horcrux, which Voldemort made from Rowena Ravenclaw's 'Lost Diadem'

Yes I am a huge fan. Just reread HBP (again) last night and have started on DH again. Love them! I think they are my two fave books. Although it does tend to change. One of the reasons it's taken me so long to join is because I was worried I would be asked what my fave book, fave film etc is. And I am just too indecisive!
