Ah thats a shame then, the third film just sticks out the most for having the best direction for me.

I suppose so, atleast now they will all have the same feel to them, which i suppose is a positive!

Who is it who decides what gets cut etc.? Would that be the director? I really don't know much at all about what happens behind the scenes... :o
 
Haha it was an emotional night :D

How long did it everyone to read it?
I started after work on the saturday about 7, read until 2 in the morning, got up at 12, then i was finished about 10 that night. Obviously with breaks etc in between :D

I wouldn't mind a musical, i generally don't like them but it would be interesting to see! Like the Buffy musical episode... that was good :o
If it was just a musical i would imagine that it wouldn't focus on any of the serious aspects of Harry Potter, they surely wouldn't have the time to fit in backstory or anything like that. So it would probably just include Harry in Hogwarts, falls in love, has frienRAB, kill Voldemort at the end.

Is Sophie that girl that was with Katie when she touched the necklace? wait is this going to be like that Black Kid in Prisioner of Azkaban who was NEVER EVER mentioned in the book? yet had more lines than half the characters that were in the book? [that really bugged me]

Why cast pansy parkinson in this book and not The Gaunts? :mad:

I agrew with Aesa

I loved the contrast especially Ron/Lavender kssing and having fun, then the camera goes to Draco looking as if he's got the weight of the worlrd on his shoulders.

priggy Yup Hermione was suppost to be rude, but i didn't like it, she went over board, i liked Lavender, and i wished she had more lines too.
 
That trailer actually reminded me of something from The Ring... that dark colour... scary pale child... the music! I think we are set for a thriller ;) haha
 
I prefer them together than him and Ginny. And in the epilogue, we don't even get to see who Luna got together with! What if she's alone, like Rowling said Hagrid was!

To make matters worse, in the seventh book, we find that Neville and Luna seem to have really missed the DA -- more than anyone else -- but then only Neville gets revealed to have found a partner in the epilogue.

What about Luna!!

I think it's half because of the way Evanna Lynch took hold of the character, in the films. She's as perfect for Luna as Rupert is for Ron, I think.

Also, how could Harry not have seen her that way? I'll never understand this notion of having girls as frienRAB that you "dont see that way", particularly when they're not unattractive.

The Miss Marple in me is saying it's a different day beacause Harry is wearing a shirt around the xmas table and then a hooded top with Sirius!! Saying that I haven't got any sound on my computer, so I could be proven wrong with the dialogue!
 
can't wait for this film - seems like only yesterday I was fuming it had been pushed back. Time flies (must be my age).

Just booked tickets for opening night at the local cinema and the showing is at 8pm so shouldn't be too full of kiddies getting up to go to the toilet as soon as it starts (why did we do that when we younger - I never understood that one).
