Yeah very true, they shouldnt have to cut much at all hopefully! Do we know how long each film is going to be? 2.20 each?
Erm... im going to have to reread HBP to refresh my mind, i think like other posters have said the first few chapters are going to be condensed and changed. We know that the start of the film begins with shots of the destruction the death eaters are causing don't we? I could have sworn ive read that somewhere! Obviously a few chapters which revolve around certain lessons will be axed as they aren't really essential.
This thread was started 18 months before the movie is eventually going to come out. I expect as soon as the movie is out - a thread will be started to enjoy Deathly Hallows.
I have a script to write so i'll be off for a bit.
Yeah i will do actually, not that i like coffee That shows dedication to Harry Potter!!!
Is anyone a fan of them podcasts that Leaky & Mugglenet do?
Random question i know but i just remember the night i finished DH i listened to them and thought they were quite good! Havent bothered since though
Can't wait for this movie, I dont really remember what happend in the last one because its been so long since I saw it! Ive read the book for this ( and the next ) movie, but again its been so long ive forgotten it!
I haven't seen it yet as me and my frienRAB want to wait for the rush to die down first but I've been reading the posts.
I don't think it would have been that difficult to show that Harry was unable to move when Dumbledore died. They could have shown him struggling against an invisible hold and have him mouth 'Professor' to show Dumbledore had put a restraining and a silencing spell on him.
I'm getting a bit worried that I'm not going to like the film as I love the book and they seem to have changed a lot.
I also think Prisoner of Azkaban was the best- it was great, so much of a step up in quality from Chamber of Secrets.
I hated the bit in the fight at The Ministry where one of the OOTP (was it Sirius? Can't remember) punched a Death Eater, as if that was better or more skillful than using magic. It was crap!
It really is sounding like they're really going to completely ruin Dumbledore's death but it's no surprise. They didn't do the brilliant fight scene in his office where he takes everyone out single handedly before disappearing with Fawkes. That was the biggest disappointment of my life...
I dont really want to get into it lol I've had years of this and told myself I'd always avoid it
But yea of course I'd be angry if it was done to me, but at the same time I can see why Hermione did it and I think Ron's behaviour to Hermione was uncalled for but in the end their attempts to make eachother jealous failed and they lived happily ever after so I'm happy
I just finished the chapter in HBP where Dumbledore dies and I cried again! Its the way JK writes it and the fact that the locket isnt the real one doesnt help, Dumbledore went through all that for nothing!!!
