Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

I finally saw it tonight at the London IMAX. I was a little disappointed that only the first 12 minutes were in 3D (why, for that matter?) but it was still quite something to experience it on a screen that size. I thoroughly enjoyed the film and don't see why it's had so much negativity aimed at it. Admittedly, I haven't read the books but I was perfectly happy with it all and feel it sets the stage perfectly for the final book/films. I also can't wait till November 2010!!

I liked it, but i wanted more of a wow factor, the fight between Harry/Draco was great.

Tom was great *even though he looked about 20 odd in the film* lol, i liked his scenes, Emmas acting hasn't improved, i though Hermione was really rude to Lavender, actually being really bitchy calling her a bimbo etc, yes Lavender was kinda in Ron's face most of the time, but hey Hermione don't be a cow lol....i'll have to re read the books to see if she is just as bad in the books lol.

The ending could have been better...but i liked it...Draco really struggling to be "evil" was brilliant.

My fave was Ron :D, i just love Rupert, i hope he gets a good career in acting long after Harry Potter

I am really looking forward to seeing the story about Tom Riddle. That was the most interesting aspect of the 6th book. Learning about Tom Riddle's past and what drove him to become evil and how he made those Horcruxes.

Its all these banRAB that have started singing about HP in some form, for example there is a band called The Moaning Myrtles - i believe they are on youtube and they sing about moaning myrtle and her life being a ghost etc.

Ok i admit i didn't find that the best chapter...

But it was still interesting at the time, it may not have served much purpose but it was interesting... :o :p

The first time i read it anyway...

I have remembered that I have already seen pictures of Shell Cottage, so Bill and Fleur must be married, despite their romance not being mentioned in the sixth film.

Bellatrix walking on the table in the Great Hall is such a class addition! I don't think she's even there in the book (I may be wrong, it's been a while). It's good to see Quidditch is included here for one last time. I'm sure the effects will be much improved from years ago. They needed to bring it back because there's not much action in Half-Blood Prince.

That's also why they've added an extra Death Eater attack at the beginning, when Harry is staying with the Weasleys. I always thought one of the shortcomings of the books was how Harry just went back to being safe at the start of each one (this was explained away at some point by Dumbledore saying he placed a protective charm around him, or something, so he can't be harmed, it always sounded like a bit of a copout from JK Rowling!)
