Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

Has anyone seen it yet??? Has anyone seen a midnight showing LOL if anyone has could you tell us how good it is was it worth seeing? Did they miss much out from the film?
 
Awww i was looking forward to that battle scene. And they have also not included Dumbledore's funeral. That has to be one of the most emotional chapters of the HP series and it will not be included in the movie. How sad! :(

I am still peeved off at WB for pushing the date of the movie back. November is not far away and we would've all been looking forward to the release. Now we have 10 months to wait...10 bleeding months!!! :eek: :cry:
 
Was he even mentioned in the books?

I would have liked to see Luna and Neville get together but I suppose that would have been too many pairings off. ....
 
Yup deffo it has to be. I believe if they do cut the actual big burial scene we will see Harry go from his chat with McGonagall with Ron/Ginny/Hermione and we will see him put the Wand in the tomb.

I just think that would be much more poignant and also a very nice way of showing the Wand in the tomb...as we all know what happened to it next :D
 
I want to watch this again now. :o I've found a few clips on YouTube but i'm dying to see the full thing again!

As for Deathly Hallows - i'm going to assume there's not going to be a funeral. I can see Part 1 starting with the 7 Potters and NOT the wedding! The 7 Potters scene is pretty vital (Moody's death, the thing with the wanRAB, George's ear etc) so if they start the film with the wedding i'll not be happy.

And sadly, I can actually see the film makers changing it about. I wouldn't be suprised if they miss out the 7 Potters, go straight to the wedding, have the Death Eaters invade and then have Moody's death, George's ear being cut off and the wand connection all at the wedding. :rolleyes:
 
it'll be 2 years! Once HBP is out this November 2008 it won't be till about November 2010 that we get DH part 1. That's the other thing about a series is you wouldn't have to wait as long!
I don't mind if the series is a drama with actors or like a cartoon drama like Japanese anime.
 
It is annoying that there will be no sequel because now they cant improve it and answer questions, it was left as a mess! But then again, the next film would probably be a joke aswell, so best just leave it then :D

Thats the one, i knew it was lemony something! Hm well maybe when the whole of Harry Potter is finished i will give it a go :p

I dare to think what it would have been like if the films werent out, to be honest i probably wouldn't have even thought about reading the books :o
 
I would think that Lucius's portrait would be in his house??... Manor.

Can't think where it could be in the film but maybe when Arthur does a raid on Malfoy Manor? If it is a cameo then it most likely has nothing to do with the book. I'm only guessing, though.



Gosh, that doesn't look like Neville on first glance. I'm really looking forward to seeing him in the DH film - like Draco in HBP, he really comes into his own, I think. :)

I was going to wait 2 weeks for it, now i wnat to go and see it tomorrow..
