They're having Tom Riddle at school with Lucius Malfoy? WHAT THE HELL?

Tom Riddle was at the school FIFTY years previously. Lucius was at school with Snape (as seen in the penseive in book 7) Snape was in Lily's year, Lily was twenty when she had Harry so Snape is 37 in Book 6 (as are Lupin and Pettigrew but there is a rant for another time) and Lucius Malfoy is 42. 42 compared with Voldemort's 70. How utterly ridiculous.

Ohhhh I had the trio all alive....I was sure someone like Neville would sacrifice himself :o

TBH I was a bit disappointed that didn't happen lol as much as I love Neville I just imagined him dying in battle!

They've kind of made it into a romance....which it wasn't in the books but that's what's so good about how it's all put together.

It's like the romance that never was. Really lovely...had tears in my eyes by the end :o

I was disappointed, over the adaptation, but also over the fact that it's really not a very good movie. Average yes, but there was just something there that failed to tie everything together. I really wish someone would take the final movie off of Yates before it starts filming. Oh well guess it's too late now, plus the movies will make money no matter what, so what does it matter to Rowling and studio execs.
 
i was reading that in the book last week i think and was thinking the exact same thing. will they not have to show it though because thats when they follow malfoy isnt it :)
