Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

I'm champion, ta. :D

Hey JJ. :D

Eeh, I can't remember him lol. I'm going to read DH again soon. I've on ly read it once so far. I know... sacrilege!:D

The trio must be rolling in it... Dan, especially. I'm really impressed with Dan and Emma studying hard throughout the series.

I'm going to have to love you and leave you. WDYTYA is on in a few minutes. See you all later. :D

It makes me laugh to think of someone reading the last book FIRST!! You need to have lived with Harry for the whole series to get what he's going through in Deathly Hallows. At the very least you should have read Half-Blood Prince because that and DH work as a 2 part story too.

I don't think DH is the best of the series, even though I DID think that when I first read it. Yes it features some of her best writing, but that's all in the last third of the book. A lot of the stuff towarRAB the beginning is a little tedious, and I feel they will cut the whole Ministry section out of the film even if they are making it in two parts.

Some scenes will work better onscreen than in the book, e.g. when Ron and Hermione have the big fallout because Ron thinks it's Harry she likes, not him (no doubt certain fans will be looking forward to the 'vision' Slytherin's locket shows of Harry and Hermione going at it). IMO that was crap characterisation from JKR because by this stage there's no way Ron would be that stupid.

What I'm looking forward to is seeing how dark they go with the part in the Malfoy's manor. Hermione is tortured, if I remember, and other bad stuff happens but it's more left to the imagination than anything. In the film (the second one this would be in) they could make it more extreme for effect. The Malfoys themselves should get a better payoff than in the book.

Good point about the mirror Sam but naturally I'm sure they will find a good way around it or have Dumbledore give him the mirror perhaps in HBP :)

And deffo really hope Xeno has an Irish accent but then again he doesnt necessarily need one as he might have just moved there and lived with Luna :p :D

No. :( Don't remind me! I know, lets use Hermione's the time-turner & revert back to the Chamber of Secrets! Do it all over again... I'm sure Hermione'll let us use it if we ask nicely!

Dunno really I suppose it depenRAB on the size of the cinema. The one near me has it on 3 screens for the first two days, So i doubt it will be mega busy.

New trailer looks fantastic, although to be honest I thought the boy portraying Voldemort wasn't really fitting (I should probably reserve judgment till I see the whole scene). For me, he wasn't as eerie as the way JK described him to be in the books.

just had to post on more thing....didn't want my responses to this forum to be 666
