HarleyGoodies Floorboard Extension Review Thread For Baggers

These are amazing. Design is such that you can't even tell they are there. Highly recommended. Easy DIY install and a much improved foot position.
 
I ordered a set of extenders for my 09 FLHT and a set for my son-in-law's 2000 FLHTC. When the parts were received, the set for the 2000 were not correct. I sent an early morning email to HG with pictures to show them the problem. As I live on the east coast I was going to wait until they opened on the west coast. Tom called me before I was able to call him. He assured me he would correct the problem and he went way above what I expected him to do. My son-in-law's birthday was the next day and the extenders were a present for him. Tom sent the correct extenders by one day and the parts were received in time for his birthday. THAT IS WHAT I CALL EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I have installed the extenders on my bike and truely love them. They are really comfortable and I can not tell any difference on the lean angle. This company gives EXCELLENT service and an EXCELLENT product. I highly recommend Harley Goodies if you are looking for anything they sell.
 
I put a set of these extenders on my 1999 FLHTCUI (Ultra Classic) and like the way they give me a little more foot-room, and help keep me from accidentally bumping the shifter with my heel.
Installation gave me a little bit of a challenge, as the bike's oil cooler got in the way when trying to get the front bolts out, but once I went and got a set of ball-end hex wrenches to access those pesky front bolts, the rest of the install was smooth and easy.
I would definately recommend this little modification to anyone who rides a bagger, especially if you wear boots when you ride.
Oh, and did I mention....delivery was super fast!
 
Mine showed up yesterday. Packaging was excellent, shipping was immediate. I can't wait to install them tomorrow. So far I'm impressed, quality machine work on the spacers!
 
As mentioned here many times, Very quick shipping! A bit if a challenge to install on the kickstand on the Police model because of the oil cooler location, but the results were worth it! Noticeably more comfortable ride due to feeling less cramped. I would recommend them!
 
Installed them on my '09 ElectraGlide. Very easy install. I was a little concerned that the back bolts might shear off, but they did relent. They give me more room on the floorboards. A friend of mine with a '09 Street Glide bought a set after seeing mine. We'll put them on this week.
 
Installed mine this morning, put about 100 miles on them so far. Definitely worth it, your feet end up exactly where they are supposed to be, instead of hanging off the sides.

I did scrape floorboard for the first time in a parking lot situation, but I was purposely trying to lean the bike over so it's not the end of the world. I went through my favorite park at my normal "brisk" pace and didn't touch down so it should be fine.
