I just installed on my 2010 black denim street glide with 103 stage 4 kit and they make the ride so much better! Love the product and have been spreading the word to my fellow co workers

I installed the HG floorboard extenders on my Ultra last evening (why is there always one bolt that doesn't want to come off?). And, after riding with them for over a hundred miles today, I am 100% impressed with what this product supplies, not only the quality of materials, but the increase in comfort for my feet. I only regret missing out on the hdforums discount.

Thanks HarleyGoodies!

Cheers from Dyna world,
I'd like to ask: Do they LOWER the floorboards too?!
I took ,once, a 2009 RK for a short city ride and what made it really... strange for me was the fact that floorboards were too high!
That might not be a problem for a rider which is acustomed to touring position but for me (used with really extended footpegs) it was quite uncomfortable...

I ordered the harley goodies extentions for my 2008 FLHX on Wednesday...didn't even think to look at this thread for the discount (oh well...my own fault there). After reading so many great reviews on several other threads about these, I decided to go ahead and get them. I'm only 5'9" but for the entire year I've had this beauty, I was always uncomfortable with my foot position on the boards. I live in south Florida and bought the bike in Memphis. I flew up and rode it home over 1,000 miles. My feet were never flat on the boards, always half off the sides or way up over the front...I just like to ride in a relaxed position. (who doesn't) Now, I'm planning a 2200 mile loop thru the Smokies and back down the coast and knew I needed to do something to make the ride a bit more cozy.

Well, I have to say I'm looking forward to putting these on in the next day or two...like I said, with all the great reviews I've read...I can't even begin to imagine how much better the ride is going to be. I'll update this as soon as I get them on and get a feel. I'm sure about a dozen of my buddies will hop on the same train once they check mine out. Thanks in advance...based on the reviews, there's no way these could steer me wrong.

Okay, rainy afternoon, so today I gave the installation of the extenders on my "08 Ultra Classic a go. Pretty straightforward installation. Don't let the instructions freak you out. It's not as complicated as it reads. Biggest problem was the rear bolt on the right side bracket, but used a very large hex wrench with a six inch handle and it broke free with a minimum of effort. Also put passenger extenders on the bike. The wife will appreciate moving her boot away from that right pipe. Love to new riding position. Size 12's here and was always hanging off the outside edge of the footboard. So, why is it that we have to pay extra to fix obvious design miscues from the MoCo? Retorical question. We all know the answer to that, don't we.

I'm thinking of installing these on my Road Glide Ultra.

1. I'm assuming they'll fit a 2011 bike?

2. Will they decrease the clearance when cornering? I can really lay this bike into a corner now. I'd hate to loose that ability.

3. Will it be harder to reach the kickstand when it's in the down position? I was thinking that moving the floor boards out might may it hard to get a grip on it with inside of my foot.

Thanks in advance for the info. I'd like to order this week so I'll have them for the weekend if they'll work for me.

they only extend the boards 7/8 of an inch. they do reduce the cornering clearance 7/8 of an inch if that's an issue. no problem with the kickstand. more natural riding position if you ask me.

that's good enough for me. I had extenders on my Heritage and it made it really tough in the curves. The bike scraped the boards real bad before I put the extenders on. The riding position was great, but the clearance on a bike that low made it unworkable. I can't wait to get them on my Road Glide and spread my legs out so that I can get my whole foot on the floorboards.
