harley davidson gas tank, should i line the inside of a new tank?

i live in ohio,and got a bike from florida that has a rusted gas tank. so i bought some kbs coating to line the inside of the tank.
but then i bought a brand new tank instead.
so should i coat the inside of the new tank ?
with no salt in the air here in ohio ,will the new tank rust out like the old one?
