harley davidson 1994 xl 1200 sportster?

Not getting fire. Engine turns over but no fire. There are a black wire, red wire, and a white wire disconnected on the right side of the engine block!? Help 1994 harley davidson sportster 1200
replaced the ignition module but still no fire does anyone know what powers up the ignition module what color wire or anything?
I don't know how to respond i am new at this~~ No there is no spark at all the engine just spins over and over....
 
check for spark with your spark plugs pull out a plug lead and see if it sparks when turning over engine
if it doesn't then it may be a ignition coil check to see if both positive and negative wires are on the coil ends
 
You need to get a service manual and start the "NO START" diagnostic tree before you buy any more parts you may not need.
