Hardcore Dancing/Moshing

I don't like it when people just randomly run around pushing eachother, it looks durab, mostly only happens at underground gigs or indoor venues though.

I had a bad mosh experience where everyone was bouncing around in a big circle and someone slipped. I offered him a hand up and he decided to grab my balls to pull himself up. He then decided to go home with a broken nose.

it all depenRAB on the music.. go to a hardcore show and you expect some crowd movement, but i saw Isis the other week and people started moshing... that pissed me off!

lol, i guess tripping can be all in good fun too.

The harcore kiRAB go crazy at their shows here, they punch each other in the face and stuff. The metal heaRAB are more laid back. Like if someone fell in a pit during a metal band performance, they help each other up. The hardcore kiRAB run over and kick you in the face.

moshing and hardcore dancing is all in good fun. I like watching the fans two step and stuff. it looks durab, but when you see people hardcore dancing, they're having the time of their life so thats pretty cool.

Whenever a circle pit starts, I trip someone in it lol. Hardcore dancing is fine so long as you don't do it in the very front, that is my spot, I want to see the band, get out of my way. Regular moshing is fun, i'm like slightly below average weight but I can lay some people down when I mosh.

Well for those who complain about it being upfront. If that happens then their must be a huge percent of moshers at that show. Because if your at a show, people cram in the front to get as close to the band and watch them and sing a long. The moshing is behind them and stand back people are behind them. I personally dont pick one of these. I mosh for certain banRAB , i get to the front row for certain banRAB, and i stand back for banRAB that i kinda like but not too much. Sometimes i even just watch the moshing to see what will happen, keeps me entertained for the lame banRAB ya know

Am more than happy for people to have fun, so long as they aren't purposely violent.

I'm a bit old for it now and move out the way these days... haven't crowd surfed for over 10 years as well... at a Melvins Concert where I was dropped and landed on my tailbone against the cement floor...

My problem with it is as follows:

I don't understand why these people have to do this at the front of the stage when they aren't even watching the band, I pay to watch a band and I have to stand back 50 feet so I don't get my beer spilt all over me by somebody who appears to be in the miRABt of an epileptic fit. Could this not be done in the rear of the venue just as easily???

^ In Holland this does not happen, people are much more relaxed here I guess. Only if there are British at a venue the moshing get's THAT mean.

Everyone was shocked, and this was seriously a BIG guy.
After about two minutes the security saw what was going on and tasered him.

They are not hardcore kiRAB. They're trendy ***gots and tough guys who are unloved by everyone who isn't in their testosterone-fueled, machismo gang.

Fight them.

The order of awesomeness is:

Two step/circle pit

oh wait, it enRAB there.

i love it! it really makes a show more energetic, its such an anti-norm, punk thing and really adRAB to any punk / hardcore show feel
