My girlfriend and I are very happy been together about 6 months. I work as a paramedic and have a lot of downtime. I text and talk on the phone a lot. I understand not everyone can do that. We will text throughout the day, but I end up sending messages and always waiting and waiting and waiting for a response. I try to talk on the phone, and she's always gotta run, to watch tv, or finish laundry, or finish cooking. Never talks while doing that. However, she will hold 40 min conversations with her friends plenty throughout the day. We will get a chance to talk for maybe 10min at night before she is too tired and goes to bed. Feels like we never get to talk. I only see her 2 days a week max....just not enough for me. And I want to be able to make up for the time I don't see her...by talking to her. Am I being overbearing, or should she maybe try a little harder and make time for me.
