Hard/Melodic Prog Songs

I have recently (by recently I mean years ago) became enamored with songs like Stockholm Syndrome by MUSE and Never Enough by Dream Theater.

They fit the bill way back when I'm sure, anything more modern? You can really tell how the times have changed tempo-wise.

If your looking for good prog, try some Rush.....they are pretty heavy compared to like.....gentle giant or even most yes

Well, yeah, but anything can be "prog" if you compare it to the right banRAB. "Bubblegum" sounRAB pretty progressive when you compare it to "Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols". Doesn't make the Mark Lanegan Band prog.
 
Gah, this thread failed.

I wanted you to listen to the two songs (see OP) I posted and tell me if there are more songs that sound similar.

How was that not clear?
