Happy Thanksgiving to all of our :ff: posters from Canada!
I'm thankful for :ff: and for all of the amazing people I've met here. :group_hug:
I'm grateful for the chance to get to know my sister better this year (she's more than ten years older than me, so this is really the first time we've committed to making time for each other and I'm learning lots of family stories that I have never heard before.)
I'm thankful for my aunt who cheerfully listens to my rambling conversation on the phone for an hour every Sunday afternoon.
I'm grateful for my little Mississippi hometown and all the good folks who live here.
Life is good, especially when we take time to count our blessings.
Although Thanksgiving in Canada is not technically until tomorrow, most people I know including myself are having turkey dinner today. My turkey is in the oven, vegetables cut and ready to be cooked, dessert of strawberry trifle is chilling in the fridge.
I have a lot to be thankful for this year. I survived a car accident where I was almost killed and for that I'll always feel lucky, my sister's cancer is on the path to remission, I have a family and a boyfriend who I love and who love me very much, I have a best friend who I would do anything for and who would do anything for me, I have a job I'm in love with teaching French immersion to grade 2 children. I'm very lucky and blessed in every aspect of my life.
My question is what are YOU thankful for in your life?
