Happy endings vs. Sad vs. Bittersweet

I'm a happy endings kinda person. If I want sad or bittersweet endings, I'll read the news. I watch cartoons (and other entertainments) to escape the depressing nature of reality.

Heh doesn't everyone. Happy endings get cheesy after watching way to many of them.

For me it all depends on the story and the characters. Take a love story for instance, there are times when a sad or tragic ending is best for the story and then there are times when a happy ending fits better. It's all reletive to the story and situation...

I'll take any ending if it's well done. While I generally don't like sad endings, if they just don't come out of nowhere I'll watch it.

For example " The heroes have saved tghe day and then something came out of nowhere and killed every one." That's just confusing.
