Whether you call it "Star Wars" or "A New Hope"...all you Force Sensitive posters out there in RAB Forum World, join me in celebrating the start of, certainly, one of the most successful and biggest franchises in movie history!

"Star Wars" was released 30 years ago today....well, okay, UK got it a few months later, I think, LOL! But be that as it may, it's a cause for celebration! :D

I'm definately going to pop it on the DVD Player tonight and relive!:cool:
 
just thought i'd take a quick look at www.starwars.com but nothing really special mentioned on there at all

great film and i still prefer the orig 3 to the new ones they did

doing the scenes with proper models was so much better than all that CGI rubbish they came up with for the other films
 
I'm a huge fan of all six films, don't really midn the changes they made, infact welcome most, especially when it concerns the effects. :)
 
Now I feel really old.

March 1978, queuing outside the Odeon Bradford to see, at the time, the only Star Wars film.

Ah yes, I remember it well ;)
 
I only just got around to watching the latest trilogy Episodes I, II & III. It got better with each episode but you cant beat the originals, top notch! :cool:
 
I'm not sure he is genuine. Not seeing a film is one thing, but managing to avoid the hundreRAB of pop culture references is totally different.
