Lovely. Very quiet, I barely even got dressed, didn't even shower, played computer games and had nice food and wine. I don't see turning the age I'm turning as a celebration. No it means the foods will be all the more delicious and I'll spend less time in the fecking kitchen. Just ate the beef thingy, which had red wine, tiny onions, and herby dumplings in it. The meat was so tender it melted in your mouth. Now I'm very full and very contented.

Someone who has a very badly converted house and couldn't get it in through the living room door so had to sell the one she had.

We're meant to be being given a small one by the end of the week but who knows.

Slow cookers are grate.

It's the equivalent of the old pot over the fire with the stew in it for hours.

I use it to make the stew for my steak pie and it's awesome.
