The other day, Ralph Bakshi, the director of Fritz the Cat, Wizards, & the original film version of Lord of the Rings, as well as the producer of Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures (which launched many careers), turned 70.

Here's to you, Ralph. Live long and prosper.
 
don't forget his works on Terrytoons, the seasons 2 ans 3 of the 1967 Spider-man and the last season of Rocket Robin Hood where he played a part for the most psychedelic episode of that cartoon: "Dementia Five" who was also recycled for a Spider-man plotline "Revolt in the Fifth dimension"
