Glad someone remembered. I've always had a connection with this film but never really knew how to express it. But, well, ten years later I've finally written a fanfic over it. Would anyone call me crazy if I was up to chapter 36? It's my longest one ever.

Interesting bit, Brad Bird never wanted the big metal guy to live but the ending was added as a sort of homage to old B-movies. In other quotations, ?

I didn't think that this movie came out ten years ago. I was ten back then, but that feels like it was ages ago. I thought that the article was nicely done and it did tap into the message I felt the movie had in the end. I also still get sad at the end of the movie. Happy birthday, The Iron Giant.

Although i seen it quite a few times on tv, but as i rewatch this movie on Cartoon Network i noticed something....i never knew Vin Diesel was the voice of the iron giant. I must of missed that till i watched the Riddick series and notice. Happy Birthday Iron Giant.
