"For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would." Galatians 5:17
Once someone was praying over me, but her words weren't describing me but someone else's wickedness. So I prayed that the Holy Ghost would prompt her to realize her mistake, but she didn't. And so the Lord filled with me so strongly with the Spirit that her arm shook until she pulled her arm away, and when she looked into my eyes, she was filled with fear and backed away.
I recommend confessing to God your sins; He knows them anyways. And that's the principal reason you should be at the altar, anyways: to get your heart right with God.
