HandyClock: Screensaver Stops Working?

any HandyClock users out there?

i'm suffering from this problem that just started recently: the "Calendar" screensaver (and Autolock, if i turn it on) will work once or twice but after that it will default back to the normal Nokia screen saver.

it happened after i installed smart2go or RemindMe, i am not sure which. i have uninstalled all 3 and put HandyClock back on by itself but it still has the problem.

it may have something to do with the MiniSD not being inserted (it was not inserted when i installed HandyClock).

any ideas?
 
I've found that HandyWeather does this too, but I figured out why. If you install the application to the memory card, then remove the memory card for whatever reason, your theme will default back to the default screensaver. Install it to the phone, set the screensaver, and you should be all set.
 
that's a good point, thanks for the info. except that i already uninstalled it and re-installed it without the card inside... and i've formatted the card several times with my E50 too. weird...
 
That is weird. I do like that you don't need to pay for any of the Handy software to use the screensavers that come with it. But that doesn't matter if it doesn't work for you at all!

Perhaps a hard reset would do the trick? That seems like a last resort measure, but I use the screensaver so much, I'd definitely do it.
 
Hmm... Have you restarted your phone since you installed HandyClock? I'm sure you did, but I'm just curious. The help document says that you have to restart your phone since the installation for the screensaver to work properly.
