yeah... its like removing ignition, 20 seconds...taking out the 2 bolts on the side of the forks, 30 seconds...but now what? this plastic piece still won't come off.
read some other threads about this topic and alot of guys insist the "right way" to do adjust bars is removing outer fairing and radio........uhhggggg!

is it actually a "nut" ? is it threaded on? i tried to sorta pry up on it GENTLY mind you...don't wanna wreck anything...especially the ignition cuz lets face it..that's a definate trailer the bike to the dealer situation....

it is a nut, do not pry it off. take this off and everything else will come off. Even if you take the outer fairing off, this still has to come off to mess with the handlebars.

Ok, here is a little secret, as a wrench the easyist way, is to remove the 2 bolts on the sides of the switch cover, remove the outer fairing, take the 4 bolts out of the spot light bracket, unplug it, and set a side, remove the crome cover, lift up and back on the inter fairing , just have to move it back enough to get to the bolts, then put it back together when done, 20 min job

LIke everyone said the ignition switch access...
I moved my stock ones a few times high, low and everywhere in between....
I am now back to original position......

outer fairing, and radio pull. did the switch way and the radio was in the way... couldnt get to the bolts with out bending the trim for the radio hole, and thought i was gonna break it.
