Hand problem: injury?

A few days ago, I began having pain in the top of my left hand. It has begun to radiate a bit, and my fingers feel stiff and almost numb. The pain is intense, and keeps my up at night. If I move the hand or arm at all, the pain intensifies.

Prior to this, I was weight-lifting and playing basketball.

Anyone have any idea on what this could be? I'm not even sure who to see about it.
 
You know that sounds like my arthritis symptoms which can set in at any time.
In any event, I would give the doctor a call, probably an orthopedic if you can, and have this checked out. Maybe some PT would be just the thing to help you. You may have to rest that hand for the healing process as well regarding your weight-lifting.
