Just picked this up on BD I remember enjoying it, but I remember it also as a film of 2 halves, it was like they couldnt decide if they wanted to make a light comedy about a reluctant superhero, or a darker, more violent drama about the same thing.
But some parts were really funny!

Bit of a let down, the premise was quite good but it did look llike they had no clue where to take it.

I thought Hancock was good. My OH hates super hero films and was reluctant to go see it but she really enjoyed it.

At about 2/3 of the way through watching on Sky I had already planned to but the dvd on the Monday. Unfortunately the last 3rd completely ruined it for me.
Why they needed to complicate the story, I don't know.

I loved the whole thing though I thought the backstory could have been dealt with better, it made me want to see the huge epicness that it suggested happened though we never go to see it. Maybe the sequel, if it happens, will give us more of that.
