Im having difficulty figuring out where my boxset takes place in the time line. Im after info such as what comes before it and what comes after it so I know what to buy.

The set I have is the Vegeta Saga I. First ep is "The New Threat" and the last ep 21 is "Counting Down"

Yeah well I was hoping that I was starting from the beginning which it looks like I am so that's good. Ill work my way up.
Do any of the movies giveaway saga spoilers or do you need to have seen the eps to understand the movies? Im thinking of getting some today
 
None of the movies have any effect on the series. You just see them as they are in the series at the time the movie was made...Like you won't see Goten and young trunks until movie 10 i think.
 
None of the movies I have seen have a direct relation to the storyline of the series. However, if you watch certain movies that take place at a later point in time than where you are in the series, you may see certain characters' new abilities which could be a spoiler. You're free to do what you want (obviously lol), but I would suggest watching the series before the movies.
 
Well I've rented them. I already know a lot about all the series from when I was younger so I know the characters and abilities etc. I just don't want to start another series unless its continues from where im up to because I've never watched it from beginning to end
 
Haha well I had the boxset I borrowed from a mate a month ago, just haven't got around to watching it, I was all "nah not gonna be good as when I was a kid" but it suprised me.
