HALO 3 - beta footage leaked

Microsoft and Bungie had a Christmas present for the brave U.S. soldiers located in Iraq. The U.S. troops got a chance to play the upcoming Halo 3 multiplayer public beta earlier and now, a couple of days after the fragfest took place, two short clips and some pictures have been leaked online showing for the first time some images from the beta.

i wonder if that's how the hud will be in the game when it comes out, or if they have it different in the beta. and i'm trying to figure out what the 3 things at the top right are. the first icon looks like a grenade, the second one kinda looks like a smiley face, and the third looks like a crossbow
 
so the plasma grenade is the sticky grenade, if i remember correctly the spike grenade launches a ball of spikes that go through anything in the near vicinity, including walls/doors/shields, but there was a small area of impact

"similar to the spiker, spike grenades help round out the brutes subset of weapons. when you throw one, it'll stick to all surfaces-even shield doors, so you can toss it right at the force shield, run through, then hear it explode in the face of pursuers. spike grenades blast out-you guessed it-spikes in a conical explosion, like a shaped charge. so the damage reaches farther, but it doesnt affect as wide an area. you can even safely stand right next to the explosion"
 
I honestly don't expect Bungie to change the gameplay that much from the disappointing Halo 2. I expect Halo 3 to have better graphics, more weapons and a few new vehicles. Aside from that I expect this to be a disappointment just like Halo 2 was.
