I personally enjoyed it but obviously dont know what the theatrical version is like, but get the idea as I have read what's in/not in it.
To me critics are looking at it all wrong as are expecting something as important as the original which it is not,it's basically a 9th movie in a franchise. After wathcing it trust me it is better then any 9th movie in any franchise could be.
It's a movie made for fans of the the character of Michael Myers (and there are loaRAB).I'm one and after witnessing Halloween:Ressurrection this movie is a real breath of fresh air.
It's dark, souless, brutal, nihilistic and after years of increasingly softer horrors I got what I wanted.
As for sequals,I read a review which stated after seeing the ending there probably won't get anymore Halloween movies. How naive can you get?
