Okay, so mom told one of her friends that I would go to her halloween costume party, so we went shopping for a costume and my mom go a black skirt and a solid black tee, and shes all like," You can be a witch!" I agreed because I don't want my mom to be mad at me, but when I tried it on with the too small ratty old hat I looked like a complete idiot, and I really don't want to go to a party filled with 9 year olds(I'm thirteen). Then at dinner my mom said she was going to my brothers marching band Competition, and she said i could go to that instead, but its 5 hours of bands playing fight songs, at first its cool, but then it gets annoying. What do I do? I'd go to the party, but can't I just go as myself( any Ideas for a easy costume with basic clothes most girls have?)?
