Halloween / Nightmare On Elm St

Does anyone know if there will be any more films in the Halloween Series or in the Nightmare on Elm Street Series, the last as far as I know know were HALLOWEEN RESURECTION and FREDDY V JASON
 
both these fim series have devoted fans, th elast movie n each was dire but it can be salvaged! i bet we have not seen last of either
 
I'm not sure if Halloween 9 is a sequel or it's the prequel they are on about, where they go back to the psychiatric hospital to concentrate on that part of his life. Or it's another completely different movie, anyone?
 
Just the last movie in each was dire? The vast majority of films in both series are utterly dire. I think if I was a fan I would still want them to stop making them.
 
I liked Halloween 3: Season of the Witch even though it had nothing to do with the original movie.
I know I'm probably alone in this so don't write in and have a go at me: the voices tell me to say these things. :)

There was going to be a freddy vs jason 2 but they have put a stop to that because they are planning friday the 13th 12, yes 12, freddy vs jason was supposedly number 11th. But there is also rumours of a remake to the first ever friday the 13th. The above site will tell all.
 
I love ALL the Halloween movies! I love the Myers family - and the secrets, and the fact that Michael Myers tries to kill all of his family - and then more and more keeps cropping up somewhere! And he survives in them all as well!!

Love it!! Bring on Halloween 9! I'd love it to be like the first Halloween movie - not like Halloween Ressurrection - where it was all teens etc. The first Halloween was the best!
 
Jesus, how anyone can think Halloween 3 was the best of them is beyond me. The first halloween is far superior to any of the others, and Halloween 3 is pretty far down the list imo. The first two are best, with the first one being the best by some distance.
