I wasn't surprised either. Plus, we see her vomit when Michael was eating the dog, so it's like she had some sort of psychic connection with him in a way.

I saw the movie today & thought it sucked. It was too slow moving in some parts. The parts w/the mom, the white horse & young Michael seemed unnecessary & lame & just seemed to be in there just so Rob could put his wife in the movie. The best parts of the movie were definitely the parts w/Lori & how she was dealing w/the aftermath. She was definitely way different in this movie than in the last one. The movie only got kind of interesting at the very end when [sp]Lori came out wearing the mask & then we see her institutionalized. I'm so not surprised that she went insane after all that[/sp]

Im looking forward to this movie :D Though nothing can beat the originals, I still like the horror in it and Mike is just one of the best villians.

Thought I would create a thread to this movie. I can't wait, it is almost here. H2 is just going to be *****ing badass.

- Michael busting through a door
- snipers

that trailer looks badass, I love Rob Zombie's vision of Halloween.

So what did you guys think of the movie if you saw it? Personally, I was rather disappointed at first. It started to grow on me during the last half of the film as I felt it starting getting a little better. There were some really good scenes, but as a whole the movie could have used some work. The whole mom/white horse thing really should have been taken out. It wasn't needed at all and was kind of stupid. I really liked how messed up Laurie was in this movie.

I'm sure I will. I enjoyed all the original Halloweens and I thought Rob Zombie did a impressive job remaking the first. I like his spin on the development of a deranged serial killer.

I think that is what I liked about the version he did on the first. It still brings the gore and horror in the film, but Rob Zombie is more about the psychological reasons than just trying to bring a scream.
